Students will be provided with an insight into the CCW process in ElDorado county. Class will discuss ways to carry, firearm selection and what to expect in our CCW classes. This class will assist students in understanding red dots on pistols. From helping decide what kind of optic fits your need to how to zero them. This class will cover the "whys" of how switching to a pistol optic can change everything. After completion of this class students will be able to sign up for free 30-minute pistol optic private instruction.

California CCW certification course required for a new concealed carry permit. Sixteen hours over two days covering California firearms law, safe handling and storage, use of force, and the live fire qualification course. Approved by the California Department of Justice and accepted by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office. What to bring Bring firearms that you want on your permit (up to 5) A proper holster for at least 1 firearm. 30 rounds per firearm for qualification and, additional ammo for drills (as much as you want to shoot)

Eight hour California CCW renewal course covering updated firearms law, a refresher on safe handling and use of force, and live fire re-qualification. California permits must be renewed every two years. Call 530-622-4867 to book a date.

A two and a half hour introduction built for complete beginners. Covers safe handling, loading and unloading, stance and grip, sight alignment, and live fire on the range with a certified instructor. No experience needed and rental firearms are available.

A four hour course on drawing safely and consistently from a holster, including presentation, re-holstering, and live fire drills. Recommended for permit holders and anyone who carries. Prior handgun experience is expected. What to bring Students will need to bring a firearm, a secure holster and 100 rounds of ammunition minimum. As well as eye and ear protection.
